Darlene Brink’s life-long enthusiasm for makeup has grown out of her diverse experience with photography, art, retail, sewing and design.

Darlene is a freelance, mobile makeup artist with a comprehensive knowledge of the ever-changing nature of makeup trends. She uses quality, professional products and techniques. Her passion lies in recreating period makeup and hair styles from the roaring 20s to the glamorous 50s in addition to the rockin’ 80s.

As a graduate from Calgary’s accredited makeup artistry school Artists Within, Darlene develops her portfolio by broadening her experience in the fashion industry, with bridal clientele and editorial collaborations. She has also received MAC Master Class training in Bridal and Makeup Essentials. Recent clients include Laura Mercier, Yves Saint Laurent, Stila, Alberta Beauty Association–Matrix Stage, Swerve Magazine and Briget Vintage. Darlene currently works as an Educator and Demo Artist with Jane Iredale Makeup.
